Visiting the Museum

During the educational tours, an entertainer leads the class across the museum rooms, searching for objects and documents that will help students understand the Great War experience for the soldiers and civilians living in occupied lands.

The themes that are addressed include life in the trenches, war as an "obligatory stimulus" of technological evolution, the year-long Occupation, the propaganda and legend surrounding the war, the conflict and the Battle of Vittorio Veneto.

Visitors can choose between an hour-long educational tour and an in-depth interactive tour lasting two hours. Alternatively, it is possible to access the museum without a tour by simply paying the entrance fee.
